Actually it does matter which government is in power… nothing of this magnitude have ever happened before in st Thomas … I see lot ppl trying to downplay the work this current government have been doing for rural parishes which have long been neglected by previous governments …. So all the ppl involved must be commended …

Honestly this entire stretch from u lef see me no more a Kensington up to church pass the Gas station a long bay needs professional work, one of the most scenic views of the Caribbean seas in all of Jamaica. The road needed lifting and a sea wall is needed. Seawall that can facilitate pedestrian, cyclists, roller skate, joggers etc proper things to attract tourist, and revamp the area. Like st Thomas, Portland lack proper political representation. Them PainP and JLP politicians no ready fe areas like long bay. No where else that has 1 miles stretch white sandy beach would be in this condition. Shameful man. So much potential, just a waste.

You did not reach Market Road Mr. Klarity the road is a disgrace up Harbour Head Rd. As you said Port Morant when I was living there was the top town in St. Thomas now it is looking so bad. Proper road and water is needed. Thanks for your highlights, be safe

The area between the Fish Restaurant after leaving Leith Hall going towards Port Morant is next to a swamp and the section from Port Morant along the part currently called Seaside Road is bordered by the sea on the right. That should explain the naming of the area.

Thanks for the Video. I can understand we would want everything especially since we didn’t have much but you can’t expect to have sidewalk every mile of the road. That is only going to be where there is a high volume of pedestrian traffic. It is nice to see some of the bends being made straight. I do agree that sidewalks are needed in Amity Hall where those shops are and I also see the need for Retaining walls in some areas.
